“Dear WriteThat.name, I wish you could go back through past emails in my account and gather contact info. That would be amazing! Thanks!” – JR
Absolutely! We understand what a useful tool it would be to have the ability to scan old emails and update/create new contacts based on the data retrieved from emails received before signing up with WriteThat.name.
Great news! We have just released this new feature: Flashback
You can have every one of your previous emails scanned for a one-time fee of only $20, and WriteThat.Name will use its same semantic technology you rely on daily to identify the meaningful nuggets nested in the signatures of your previous emails to automatically update your Gmail address book.
Simply log into WriteThat.name and click on the Flashback button.
Next, select “Extract contacts from my Past Emails” and you will be taken to the PayPal site to approve this charge.
Once you complete the payment, WriteThat.name will begin analysing your past emails. You will receive a notification once the scan is complete and a link to your Flashback Dashboard. Here you will find all the information regarding what we found, including the number of emails scanned, contacts identified, and the details of what we were able to update for you. (image below seen as HistoRecall, which was Flashback’s original name)
Each updated contact will be listed below. If any changes need to be made, you can check the signature that the data was received from or edit the data yourself in your Google Contact Manager.
We hope that you are just as excited about this new feature as well are. We have many more exciting new things coming up here at WriteThat.name. We are working hard for you and always looking for new ways to improve our service. Keep the comments coming, what feature would you like to see next?
