If you are a WriteThat.Name’s user, chances are that you’re concerned about productivity and want to avoid wasting your time. Well, so are we at Kwaga!
And, far from being exclusive to our own solutions, we are using many other tools that you might find handy. I guess you won’t mind if we share our enthusiasm for other tools you from time to time 😉
Thinking about productivity tools, the second-first (duh!) that come to my mind is Greplin.
This is the kind of service that once installed, makes you think: “Damn, that’s so efficient and easy to use”.
Greplin is a search engine which is retrieving information from accounts that you’ve connected to it. Think about your Gmail, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Dropbox, Google Docs/Contacts/Calendar/Reader, Evernote, Yammer, Salesforce, Basecamp and many more… searchable from a unique search box.

Greplin is pretty unique when it comes to remember where you’ve heard about something in the first place. Practical use-case : Someone ask you if you have ever heard of Wipolo? And sure you have heard about it… but why? You can’t remember. Open Greplin, whether on the web or on your mobile (there is a mobile version and an iPhone app), type “Wipolo” and you will find this old mail from a friend speaking about it because he actually works there.
Another example : You remember that a friend once sent you an important information via a direct message on Twitter (maybe the login & password to access this new analytics tool that you want to try out). And since Twitter is only showing the latest DM, you will not find it on Twitter.com… but that’s not a problem anymore with Greplin.
All we can do is to send our sincere respect to the SF based team behind this great product.

Oh… and something really great if you are using both Greplin & WriteThat.Name: you can connect Google Contacts to Greplin, so all the contacts that have been created and updated by WriteThat.Name will be available and easily searchable. Handy, isn’t it?
