When it comes to email, it’s the small things that count

Productivity

Over the years I’ve bounced between all the major email clients and I have to say… I love gmail.

And yet, the king of email clients still has a number of basic things it could improve upon; there’s a nice Quora thread on just this topic:  How could gmail be improved.  My comment on the thread was that I would’ve love to have better google voice integration within google contacts, or an easy way to call someone immediately from within an email, or from a quick search that doesn’t require changing from gmail to google contacts… it’s the small things that count 😉

Well, FINALLY, it’s possible… have you seen this nifty upgrade in the past week or so.  When you search your emails via a contact, you now get this header, and the phone number is clickable.

AND THE BEAUTY is that with WriteThatname, you’ll always have the right number for your contacts.  Again, it’s the small things that count!
