Thinking about productivity tools, the second-first (duh!) that come to my mind is Greplin.
This is the kind of service that once installed, makes you think: “Damn, that’s so efficient and easy to use”.
Greplin is a search engine which is retrieving information from accounts that you’ve connected to it. Think about your Gmail, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Dropbox, Google Docs/Contacts/Calendar/Reader, Evernote, Yammer, Salesforce, Basecamp and many more… searchable from a unique search box.
Another example : You remember that a friend once sent you an important information via a direct message on Twitter (maybe the login & password to access this new analytics tool that you want to try out). And since Twitter is only showing the latest DM, you will not find it on Twitter.com… but that’s not a problem anymore with Greplin.
All we can do is to send our sincere respect to the SF based team behind this great product.
Oh… and something really great if you are using both Greplin & WriteThat.Name: you can connect Google Contacts to Greplin, so all the contacts that have been created and updated by WriteThat.Name will be available and easily searchable. Handy, isn’t it?
