Main expertise: Ph.D in Computational Linguistics and a passion for language. After completing her studies in literature, she specialized in the field of natural language processing – which is actually more like math than literature.
Why Kwaga? Even if Gaëlle is a specialist in Computational Linguistics, sometimes she likes to forget about theory and get her hands down in the “real live linguistics dirt” which in this case means email signatures and all of their chaotic variations!
Bragging rights: Gaëlle was at Kwaga from the very start and developed the linguistic logic behind Kwaga’s intelligent and flexible semantic engine.
Current Mission: While she helped build the engine that makes WriteThatname churn along, she really does care about the quality of the service it provides. This is why for over a year she had been at the center of customer service, though with the arrival of our community manager, Brad Patterson, she has now moved more towards a global position of product management— pushing new features and developments forward in a way both a true scientist and an efficiency expert could be proud of!
Lastly, Gaëlle is the member of the team that always brings it back to the user, asking how it’s going to benefit them, hence we also consider how our UX mastermind! Oh… AND, Gaëlle also does all of the communications on the website and emailings in French.
